• The Using Activity fLor this project is planned to be: NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE GROUP FOUR (NSWG-4). Project includes construction of a two-story (37730 s.f.) operational storage facility; with associated utilities, fire protection, local area network (NIPR and SIPR), heating, ventilation- air conditioning/humidity control. The facility includes open storage areas, secure storage rooms for each detachment, showers and restrooms, a duty watch station, a bunk room, and laundry areas. Information systems include computer and telephone wiring. Built-in equipment includes wall lockers. Special Construction Features include provision of a temporary facility (7412 s.f.) and associated utility connection costs; see Part 2, Section 01 50 00.05 20 TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS FOR DESIGN-BUILD. Paving and Site Improvements features include new asphalt areas, resurfacing of asphalt, sidewalks and other concrete areas, landscape planters, fencing, outdoor rinsing shower, and storm water BMPs. Equipment from other appropriations includes gear cages, drying cages, laundering facilities, Physical Security Equipment (PSE) (to include Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Access Control System (ACS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), C4ITI, bunks, and a duty watch station. This project will demolish Buildings Q100 (508 m2) and Q102 (861 m2); a total area of 1,369 m2. This project will also demolish an adjacent existing concrete paved area along with associated drainage piping.
